On 1st June 2018 the H2020 project ProGIReg “Productive Green Infrastructure for post-industrial urban regeneration” has officially started. The project funded by EU Commission with an investment of about 11 M€ will last for 5 years involving about 30 partners, a number of front runner cities (Turin, Dortmund, Zagreb, Ningbo) and a number of follower cities to implement Nature-Based-Solutions (NBS) in cities to provide environmental, social and economic benefits. CNR (led by Carlo Calfapietra) will be part of the Coordination team of the project and will be responsible of data collection and elaboration in all cities to assess and monitor ecosystem services provided by the implemented NBS.
